International Language Week Celebration and We Say Goodbye to Miss Drabble

What an awesome day @ HPS! We all looked amazing in our clothes representing our different cultures. Joshua won the prize for best dressed in McCahon Class (did Mrs Aikman get a photo Joshua?).
Sadly, we said goodbye to Miss Drabble :(

We surprised her with lots of pats on the back and a lot of love...and cake too :)
Miss Drabble worked really hard and taught us so much. Hopefully she will visit when she has time, though we know she will be very busy with university.

Below are some photos from today.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. Thanks for making my last day so special McCahon Class! You've all warmed my heart and somehow surprised me multiple times today. You've shared love, thoughts and appreciation through the comments and compliments you wrote on the 'pat on the back' hands/hearts and my card. I truly appreciate it and I am blown away by the time we have spent together. I'll be honest when I say I walked out the school gates this afternoon with a few tears in my eyes. It is sad knowing I won't be at school everyday anymore to see your smiley faces. I'm going to miss you all so much! Keep being positive and active learners McCahon. You're all bright stars in my eyes. Miss Drabble

    1. Hi there Miss Drabble,
I would like to say on the behalf of Hay Park School and McCahon class that we thank you a lot but I don't think saying thank you is even enough to express our feelings. We have appreciated all the help and love you give us and that even though we had some times that we were naughty but you still kept up with it but majority of the times you were with us we were all good and positive people. We hope you do well in University and hope to see you again!

      Love
