Totem Poles

We've been researching Totem Poles as part of our sculpture unit. Carleece has learnt some interesting facts about totem poles. Tino pai Carleece!

    I enjoyed reading your presentation on Totem poles. I've been to Canada and have seen a lot of Totem Poles. My mother is from Victoria British Columbia, where a lot of Totem Poles are seen. They are very tall and colourful. I will bring in some photos on my next visit to show your class.

  14. Wow Carleece, I have learned so much from your presentation on Totem Poles. Did you know that Maori have pou which are like Totem poles? Maori pou also tell stories which have links to family and the land.
